Love is Kind

Series: Messy: Loving Others Isn’t Easy

Love is Kind

June 02, 2019 | Scott Thibodo

This week, we’re taking a look at love’s kindness. We live in a fallen world, and constantly hearing about all of the evil in it can get to be overwhelming. Despite the world we live in, however, we are called to live differently: with kindness. The very existence of your kindness in an unkind world can make an incredible difference in the lives of others. Taking a look at the story of the Good Samaritan, we see three different types of people that we encounter regularly, and are shown a perfect example of kindness. Just as there is a difference between being nice and being kind, there is also a difference between thought and action. Kindness requires action, and there is never a bad time to be kind to someone! How do we put on kindness? What does kindness look like? How does it act and behave? We are called to be kind in an unkind world. Watch and learn, as we unpack examples from Scripture and learn more about what kindness truly is as we continue our series.
